Ruby Mountains

Ruby MountainsIt isn’t always easy.  Not even for a Mystic.  We’re all trying to overcome our obstacles and survive them.

Imagine your life as a continual quest to climb the tallest mountain.  Most people, when attempting to do so, will follow the path that others have carved before them.  This is not an usual method of travel.  Even when someone visits a nature trail, they stay on the path that has been laid before them, never wandering beyond the parameters of the guides who marked it.

They are afraid.  And, with good reason, no doubt.  There are snakes out there.  And, wolves.  So, they simply stay in the traditional walkway of life, and use a guidebook to get from one destination to another.

On the other hand, a  Mystic tosses the guidebook aside, and breaks new ground, packed with knowledge of how to avoid snakes…and wolves.  When we reach a certain altitude, and observe the new landscape which surrounds us, our backpacks are filled with glimmering gemstones, which sparkle in the light of a new understanding.

But, at this point,  we are faced with a certain dilemma that has confounded, no doubt, each and every Mystic since the beginning of time.

Bear in mind, that Mystics are a generous group of individuals.  We will share our adventures, our understandings, and our observations. We will even offer you a few rubies. Or, sapphires. But, because we understand so deeply the need for each person to carve their own path in this journey up the jewel-encrusted mountain of life, we must simply stand on the side of the road and watch others climb.

Therefore, in my writings, I hope to give you encouragement.

But, not direction.

I will give you innuendo.

But, not answers.

I will share some mysteries.

But, I will not solve them for you.

I will only stand on the side of the path, and wave you on..
