There is a legend about the first civilization of humanity, which can not be proven at this time. The legend states that women held the authoritative power over the male community, and were created solely for supervisory reasons and to propagate the species. As time carried on, the male community began to gather together their muscle and their might, and threatened the females with an unknown enemy. According to legend, the planet was, at that time, called Satania. Therefore, the men conjured a story that the planet’s ruler, known as Satan, was going to destroy all females, in order to gain control of the land. The women, being the trusting individuals that they were created to be, ran and hid. The men took over the power of the community, with the threat of Satan as their back-up, and the rest is history.
A legend.
Enough said?
No.
Let’s move on, further into the plight of the woman. She is now being auctioned to the highest bidder, for marriage. A dowry is offered, just to move the deal along.
Enough now?
No.
Now, she is at an altar.
The minister asks, “Who will give this woman?“
A man steps forward, her current owner, and gives her to another male. She now takes the name of the new man, as her own. She vows to serve him.
Are we done?
No.
Move forward. Women, the servants, now want to vote. They are faced with strong opposition.
Years later, they want rights over their own body. They are faced with strong opposition.
Today. Our daughters are dressed in push-up bras, slinky clothing, with low self-esteem. They are used by the media to sell. They are used by the media to provoke.
They are used, and remain silent. They are exploited, and remain silent, thinking this is their only way to survive. They were taught this by their mothers, who barely survived. But, did so, by remaining silent.
But there are some that have survived. They run for public office. They own corporations. They are thriving, while other women look to them with hope. On the outskirts of our existence, woman is re-gaining power and respect. But, the daughters are starving themselves, exposing their bodies, compromising all the progress that has been made by those who went before them.
And, their mothers say nothing.
The future.
The men gather together. They speak of too much power for females. They begin to gather together their muscle, and their might, and threaten the females…
